Golden Smog will be releasing its second disc in less than a year, when Blood On The Slacks hits on April 24th. The 8-track "mini-album" features 2 covers and a few tracks that were recorded for their last release. The current Smog lineup includes Gary Louris, Kraig Johnson, Marc Perleman and Dan Murphy...Nick Lowe is slated to release his first album in six years on June 26th. Titled At My Age, the project will be released by Yep Roc Records...After contributing some great songs to the soundtrack of Garden State, Colin Hay is releasing Are You Lookin' At Me, his latest solo project on April 24th from Compass Records...Wilco recently announced their next disc, Sky Blue Sky, will be released in May on Nonesuch Records...Alt-Country poster boys Son Volt are expected to explore some new sounds on their next release, The Search, which is scheduled to hit March 6...Matthew Ryan is hitting the road beginning Feb. 9th in Atlanta and working his way up the East Coast, before a date in Chicago on Feb. 24...Fountains of Wayne have a new record titled Traffic & Weather slated for release on April 3rd...Jesse Malin's new release Glitter On The Tracks is expected to hit stores in February on Adeline/East West Records. Guest artists contributing on Glitter include Bruce Springsteen, Jakob Dylan, The Goo Goo Dolls and Ryan Adams...West will be the title of the eighth disc from Lucinda Williams, which is scheduled for release on Feb. 17 from Lost Highway. The Jayhawks' Gary Louris is one of the contributors on the project.
